CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 18, 2007) - TVI Pacific Inc.
(TSX:TVI) ("TVI" or the "Company") announced today that Mr. Joseph W.
Bronneberg is no longer acting as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of the
Corporation, effective December 18, 2007. Mr. Luis Santos Jr., CFO Asia
for TVI will act as Interim CFO of the Company until such time a
replacement is found.
Mr. Bronneberg served as the CFO of the Company since his
appointment on July 23, 2007 and has resigned to accept another
employment opportunity. Shortly after Mr. Bronneberg became CFO, the
Company announced that it would be restating its consolidated financial
statements for prior periods. Mr. Bronneberg was not involved in the
preparation of any of the financial statements or other continuous
disclosure filings made prior to his appointment.
Cliff James, the President and Chief Executive Officer of TVI noted,

Mr. Santos Jr. is a Certified Public Accountant with 15 years of
experience in financial management, control, asset protection and
treasury management in the transportation, property and mining
industries. He has been with the Company since February, 2004.
